UPPER DIVISION (9th – 12th)

High School finally offered as MCCA prepares to build on it's increase in students.

The High School Abeka program is a rigorous academic curriculum with enriched programs.  The high school programming is new this year to MCCA and will be offered as an AM (8:00 – 12:00) program.  This classroom environment will be a self-taught environment, but MCCA will also maintain a classroom presence with an academic advisor to assist when necessary.

A wide range of scholastic options help students build a greater insight into themselves and others, as they venture into a breadth of academic studies and technologies. Our well-rounded program of self instruction coupled with classroom advisory is one of the key reasons we see our students as successful when it comes to channeling mental, spiritual and educational aspects into a well rounded individual. Our students will be prepared for success in their lives beyond education. During their years in the Upper School, they build critical thinking skills and empathy as they mature to see themselves as well-prepared individuals with defined values and purpose.

MCCA is open to non-Abeka based instruction as well and allowing Parents to use other home school companies as well as MOCO Virtual, Moffat County’s new at home virtual schooling.  MCCA just wants to offer a supervised, advisor based location for High School students to learn and for parents to feel at ease so their children do not have to be at home alone trying to learn.

Parents will pay the tuition cost of the Abeka program ($1220.00).  If you buy through MCCA and register for the year at MCCA, your price for the Abeka Curriculum is only $950.00, saving $270.00 on the cost.  Parents are also allowed to buy their own curriculum from any homeschooling program.  Monthly tuition at MCCA after the purchase of the curriculum is 150.00 dollars a month for ten months.
